Support us

Our work would not be possible without the generous support of friends and sponsors.  Equality is supported by the Roma Education Fund, the British Embassies in three countries, the Scurrah Wainwright Charity, the Allen Lane Foundation, The Big Issue, Open Society Foundation and Department of Health.

In 2012 to 2013 we aim to:

  1. build capacity within Roma communities to resolve the issues that matter

  2. improve access to employment by Roma

  3. map the situation of Roma across the UK

  4. provide information and train local authorities and service providers on Roma issues

  5. work with Roma parents to ensure their children attend school and achieve results

  6. work with UK media for more factual and balanced reporting on Roma
